MedFlow Integrations
MedFlow is built to work alongside systems you already run. Integrations are scoped during implementation, and each one depends on the interface and credentials the other party provides.
Integration areas
- Health information exchange using FHIR R4 and HL7 v2 messaging
- Imaging workflows using DICOM-compatible viewers and links to your imaging archive
- Insurance and claims exchange, including electronic remittance handling
- Payment providers for card, transfer and wallet collections
- Email and messaging providers for appointment and account notifications
- Laboratory analysers and diagnostic devices, where the device exposes an interface
External dependencies
Every external connection requires credentials, endpoints and, in some cases, contractual approval from the other organisation. MedFlow provides the interface and the audit trail; the counterparty must supply access. We do not represent an integration as live until it has been tested against the real endpoint.
Capability status
- FHIR R4 resources — Patient demographics, observations and laboratory results. (implemented)
- HL7 v2 inbound messaging — Message parsing and validation before processing. (implemented)
- Insurance claim files — Claim and remittance file handling per payer specification. (configurable)
- Analyser interfaces — Assessed per device during implementation. (planned)
